As a Security Officer - Healthcare Frontline in Tarrytown, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming staff, visitors, and patients while maintaining a professional and approachable presence. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and responding promptly to security-related inquiries or incidents. By remaining attentive at your post, you will help to deter unauthorized activity and contribute to a secure environment for everyone in the facility. This position may require driving responsibilities, so a valid driver's license is necessary. You will also utilize technology such as computers or tablets to document incidents and manage visitor logs. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a healthcare location.
  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to help maintain order and security-related protocols at the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
  • Assist with emergency response activities at the front desk when appropriate, including notifying appropriate personnel and following emergency protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to provide information, answer questions, and address concerns related to security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
