As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for our client's operations. Your primary responsibilities include monitoring and controlling access points, conducting thorough screenings of individuals entering and exiting the premises, and performing regular patrols throughout the assigned area. By remaining visible and attentive, you help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence for staff and visitors alike. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct screening of individuals, vehicles, and/or packages entering or exiting the premises to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain protocol compliance.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines and client instructions.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of screening activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and drivers to address inquiries and provide guidance regarding security-related procedures.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to support security-related operations and emergency response activities.
• Perform regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as required by site procedures, to help to deter potential risks and monitor for unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
