As a Security Officer - Dispatch Specialist in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in supporting security-related operations within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and coordinating communications, managing access control systems, and responding to alarms and incidents as they arise. Using your strong customer service skills and comfort with technology, you will interact with both staff and visitors, providing clear information and support as needed. Your presence and attentiveness will help to deter unwanted incidents and maintain a secure atmosphere. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing dispatch protocols specific to the location.
• Monitor and coordinate communications between security-related personnel and site management through dispatch operations.
• Document and relay information regarding incidents, emergencies, and/or routine activities as required.
• Assist in the management of access control systems and visitor logs through the dispatch center.
• Communicate with local authorities and emergency services when necessary, following established protocols.
• Support Allied Universal team members by providing timely information and direction during incidents or routine operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and first aid certifications are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
