As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will play a vital role in supporting a secure environment by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and conducting security-related patrols throughout the facility. You will also be responsible for responding to incidents, managing visitor access, and maintaining detailed records of daily activities. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries about access procedures and site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to resolve access control issues and support security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Possession of a current Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
