As a Security Officer - Telecom Site - Weekdays in Hillsboro, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that may arise. You will interact regularly with employees, visitors, and guests, providing exceptional customer service and communication while upholding the values of reliability, agility, and integrity that define Allied Universal. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the security-related needs of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any irregularities.
  • Monitor the location for any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual occurrences and report findings according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors by providing information and guidance as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and patrol activities as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
