As a Security Guard - Retail Site - Morning Shift in Happy Valley, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading retail location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for customers and staff. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and promptly responding to situations as they arise. You will utilize your strong communication skills to provide outstanding customer service, assisting visitors and addressing any concerns in a professional manner. This is a driving post, so you will be required to operate company or client vehicles as part of your patrol duties. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a positive environment for customers and staff.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, or other unwanted activity within the retail environment.
• Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as needed regarding incidents or suspicious activities.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
• Support a welcoming atmosphere for customers and staff while maintaining high standards of professionalism and integrity at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
