As a Security Guard - - Manufacturing Site Patrol - Full Time in Hagerstown, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic food and beverage location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, being a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and addressing any concerns that may arise. You will also be expected to provide outstanding customer service, engaging with employees and visitors in a professional and approachable manner. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Assist visitors, employees, and vendors with information and directions, while maintaining a professional presence.
• Complete required reports and documentation related to security-related incidents and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
