As a Security Professional –– Utility Center Patrol - Full Time in Winchester, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a utilities location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, staying visible to help to deter any security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for safely operating a vehicle while performing your patrols. You will use technology such as computers and/or tablets to document your observations and communicate with your team. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report any incidents or concerns according to site procedures.
• Assist visitors, employees, and contractors at the location by providing information and support as needed.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to maintain a secure environment appropriate for a utilities setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
