As a Security Patrol for Commercial Buildings Full-Time in Gardena, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As an unarmed officer at a commercial real estate location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for tenants, visitors, and property management. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine foot and vehicle rounds, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that may arise. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as you move between designated areas. You will also provide exceptional customer service, building positive relationships with those you encounter and assisting as needed. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random tours and inspections around the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter potential incidents and/or unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns encountered during rounds.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and/or tenants while conducting rounds.
• Document all security-related activities, incidents, and observations according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist in controlling access to the location by monitoring entry and exit points during rounds.
• Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols for evacuations and/or other incidents as required by site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license in the state where the job is located is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
