As a Security Officer specializing in access control within a manufacturing and industrial environment, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure atmosphere for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and controlling access points, checking credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the location to remain visible and approachable. You will be expected to provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with staff and guests, and respond promptly to any incidents or requests for assistance. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and/or visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to site procedures.
• Collaborate with on-site personnel and Allied Universal management to address concerns and provide a visible security-related presence.
• Assist with emergency response activities, including following evacuation procedures and supporting first responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
