As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare environment, you will play a vital role in helping to create a secure and welcoming atmosphere for all staff, patients, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the assigned location, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding quickly to any situations that arise. You will also provide outstanding customer service, assist with access control, and communicate clearly with both team members and those you encounter on site. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies when required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe for any unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the healthcare environment to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance issues according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with staff and visitors to provide assistance and information as needed, while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Support Allied Universal leadership by providing updates regarding activities and/or incidents during assigned shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Possession of a valid Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
