As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol - Full Time in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal serving a government location, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible throughout the assigned area. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to those on site. In this armed role, you will be responsible for responding to incidents as needed, upholding our company's values of integrity, teamwork, and reliability. You will also provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to all individuals you interact with, reflecting Allied Universal's caring and people-first culture. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the government location in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report observations according to company and location protocols.
• Maintain high visibility to help to deter potential threats and provide a sense of security-related presence for occupants and visitors.
• Interact with individuals at the location in a courteous and respectful manner while enforcing site policies.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and the location.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or requests for assistance as they arise.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary, following established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.
• Handcuffing Certification is preferred.
• Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
• Possess a Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
