As a Security Officer - Access Control in Forest, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Security Officer with Allied Universal assigned to a leading aerospace and defense location, you will be responsible for access control duties, helping to deter unauthorized entry and maintaining a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your role will include monitoring and controlling access points, conducting routine patrols of designated areas, and providing exceptional customer service while communicating security-related information clearly and professionally. You will serve as a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and support the operations of a high-profile environment where attention to detail and confidentiality are paramount. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to authorized personnel and visitors at the location, following established procedures and site-specific policies.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Provide customer service to clients and guests by addressing inquiries and assisting with directions or information as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as required to address security-related matters within the aerospace and defense environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must possess an active Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
