As a Security Professional -Distribution Center - Full Time in Gaithersburg, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Screener in a logistics and distribution environment, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure and welcoming atmosphere for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring designated areas, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will be the first point of contact for individuals entering the location, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding site protocols. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
• Monitor individuals entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items.
• Conduct screening of personnel, packages, and/or vehicles as required by site protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and/or breaches.
• Maintain detailed records of screening activities, incidents, and observations as required by site management.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site staff to communicate security-related concerns and/or incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
