As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a crucial role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a leading food and beverage production location. Your primary responsibilities will focus on access control, where you will monitor entrances and exits, check credentials, and help to deter unauthorized activity. You will conduct routine patrols throughout assigned areas, remain visible to provide a reassuring presence, and respond professionally to any security-related incidents. Providing outstanding customer service and clear communication is essential, as you will interact regularly with staff, visitors, and contractors. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the food and beverage location.
• Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying identification and credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related risks.
• Document all incidents, observations, and interactions according to Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
• Communicate promptly with site management and Allied Universal regarding any security-related concerns or incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
