As a Security Professional - Utilities Site - Evening Shift in Valmy, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment for a major utility location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will also interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication at all times. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and monitor for unusual conditions.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control for employees, visitors, and vehicles at the utilities location, verifying credentials as needed.
• Support emergency response activities, including following evacuation procedures and assisting first responders as directed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
