As a Security Professional Dispatch Education in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more .

As a Dispatch professional with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will play a crucial role in supporting security-related operations by coordinating communications and responding promptly to incidents. Your responsibilities will include monitoring incoming calls and alarms, dispatching security personnel as needed, and maintaining detailed records of all activities. You will be the central point of contact, helping to foster a secure and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and respond to radio and telephone communications, dispatching security-related personnel as needed throughout the educational location.
  • Document and log all calls, incidents, and dispatch activities accurately and thoroughly.
  • Coordinate with on-site personnel to provide timely response to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Assist in implementing site-specific policies, procedures, and emergency response activities as required.
  • Support security-related operations by providing information and guidance to staff, visitors, and students over communication systems.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, students, and emergency responders during routine operations and/or emergencies.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring electronic systems and reporting any irregularities or security-related concerns.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a secure environment within the educational location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
