As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will be the first point of contact for all visitors, employees, and vendors entering the facility. Your role is crucial in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere while helping to deter security-related incidents through access control and monitoring badge credentials. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors, employees, and vendors at the front desk, providing excellent customer service and adhering to site-specific procedures.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and credentials, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
• Communicate and coordinate with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and emergency responders as necessary.
• Support the enforcement of site policies and procedures, addressing security-related issues as they arise at the front desk.
• Remain alert and observant while stationed at the front desk, reporting any suspicious activity and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to provide proof as required by the client.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
