As a Security Officer - Chemical Site Patrol - Morning Shift in Beaumont, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will play a crucial role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and managing entry points. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols of assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized access, and supporting a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. You will also interact with employees and guests, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while upholding site protocols. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry to the chemical and petrochemical location.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering restricted areas, following site-specific procedures.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with entry procedures and information.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols specific to the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe for unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with site management and local authorities as needed to address security-related issues within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential TWIC issued by TSA.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
