As a Patrol Officer in a utilities environment, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure atmosphere by conducting regular patrols throughout the assigned location. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials as needed, and helping to maintain order on the premises.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while representing Allied Universal on site.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located for driving positions.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
