As a Security Officer - Vehicle Patrols in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a retail and mall environment, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help create a secure and welcoming atmosphere for all guests and staff. Your primary duties will include conducting regular patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service through clear communication and professional interactions. This post requires driving as part of your daily responsibilities. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the retail location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related issues to appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives.
  • Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and interacting with employees and visitors as needed.
  • Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and the client to maintain a secure retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required for positions that primarily involve driving, in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
  • A Guard Card or applicable license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
