As a Security Officer - Armed Telecom Site - Weekdays in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing an approachable presence for employees and visitors. You will respond to incidents as they arise, assist with access control, and support alarm panel operations when needed. Building strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer service are central to this role, as you interact with a diverse community in a fast-paced, innovative setting. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document observations and report any unusual or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs specific to the technology, media, and telecommunications environment.
• Adhere to all company and client policies while maintaining a professional presence during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess an active Armed Guard Card or License.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
