As a Security Officer specializing in access control at a logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the premises. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Control access to the location by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and delivery personnel with inquiries regarding access procedures and site navigation.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and identify any unusual conditions.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Collaborate with site management and/or law enforcement as needed during emergency response activities or investigations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
