As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a major retail distribution center, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for all visitors, employees, and vendors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and providing clear communication and exceptional customer service to everyone who enters the location. By remaining visible and approachable, you help to deter potential security-related incidents and support the smooth operation of daily activities. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
• Assist with visitor management, including logging guests and issuing badges as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or delivery personnel to address inquiries and direct them appropriately.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
