As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a busy retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and interacting with the public to provide exceptional customer service. You will be expected to respond quickly to any incidents, communicate clearly with both clients and team members, and uphold the highest standards of professionalism. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or security-related incidents.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity within the retail environment.
• Monitor and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or incidents encountered during patrols.
• Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and/or customers while providing assistance as needed.
• Follow all Allied Universal procedures and protocols specific to Armed patrol positions within a retail location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
