As a Security Officer Healthcare Patrols in San Juan Capistrano, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a valued member of the Allied Universal team in a healthcare setting, you will take on the important responsibility of providing security-related patrol services in an unarmed capacity. Your role will involve conducting regular patrols throughout the location to help to deter security-related incidents, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting with access control and alarm panel monitoring as needed. You will engage with staff, visitors, and patients, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate communication and de-escalation techniques.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe for any unusual situations or conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and to support a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal management and client representatives as required.
• Assist with access control procedures, including verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
• Support emergency response protocols and provide assistance during fire alarms, medical emergencies, or other incidents, following established procedures for the healthcare environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
