As a Security Officer - Real Estate Patrol - Full Time in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents within a commercial real estate location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols of the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help create a secure environment, and responding promptly to any security-related events. You will also interact with building tenants, visitors, and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of tenants, visitors, and property management.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Monitor access points and report any suspicious activity or unauthorized individuals to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with enforcing building policies and procedures, and provide guidance to tenants and visitors as needed.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary, following established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
