As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for all visitors, employees, and guests. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and providing friendly, professional assistance to anyone entering the premises. You will serve as the first point of contact, using your strong communication and customer service skills to help address inquiries and guide individuals as needed. By remaining attentive and approachable, you will help to deter security-related incidents and contribute to a positive atmosphere. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors, employees, and/or clients at the front desk in a professional manner.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs as required.
• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies to help to deter unauthorized access or activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting with directions or information relevant to the location.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding incidents or unusual activities.
• Support emergency response activities in accordance with site protocols and instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
