As a Security Professional - Armed Commercial Building in Long Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in providing a secure environment within a commercial real estate location. You will conduct regular patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence for tenants, visitors, and staff. In this armed post, you will be responsible for responding to situations with professionalism and composure, while upholding the highest standards of integrity and teamwork. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed patrol protocols as required for the location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or security-related breaches.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of observations, incidents, and daily activities while on duty.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and/or law enforcement as necessary.
• Follow all Allied Universal training guidelines and client-specific instructions for armed posts in a commercial real estate environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
