As a Security Professional - Commercial Real Estate Site - Full Time in Detroit, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As a Front Desk professional at a dynamic commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and tenants, helping to create a welcoming and secure environment. Your primary responsibilities will include managing access control, verifying credentials, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone who enters the building. You will play a key role in supporting security-related protocols by remaining attentive and responsive to any concerns or incidents that may arise. This position requires strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to handle situations with discretion and care. As this is a driving post, a valid driver's license meeting Allied Universal's driver policy requirements is necessary. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors, tenants, and guests at the front desk while providing a professional presence at the location.
• Monitor access to the building by verifying identification and managing visitor logs in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
• Communicate promptly and clearly with building management, tenants, and Allied Universal personnel regarding security-related matters.
• Support emergency response activities as outlined in site-specific procedures and guidelines.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or unusual occurrences according to company and client protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
