As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution environment, you will play a crucial role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming atmosphere at the location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, conducting regular patrols, and remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will also interact with staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vehicles to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with onsite staff and law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns and/or incidents.
• Remain alert and observant at all times, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential threats within the logistics and distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
