As a Security Professional - Mall Patrol - Overnight in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail and mall location, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, maintaining a strong presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to everyone you encounter. You will use your communication skills to respond to inquiries and assist guests, while also remaining attentive to any unusual activity or situations that may arise. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, assisting in maintaining order within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unusual activity, to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors and tenants with directions and general inquiries, promoting a welcoming environment within the location.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel when required, following established protocols.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities and incidents for review by site management and Allied Universal.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
