As a Security Officer - Chemical Site - Access Control in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations at a prominent chemical and petrochemical location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and assisting with the flow of personnel and vehicles on site. Through regular patrols and a visible presence, you will help to deter incidents while providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
• Assist in implementing and following site-specific security-related procedures and protocols.
• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by addressing questions and offering assistance as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
• Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or security-related concerns according to company and client guidelines.
• Support emergency response activities and communicate with appropriate personnel during incidents or unusual situations.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized access and promote adherence to site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions in the job state.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
