As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling entry to a prestigious residential community. Your role will involve conducting regular patrols throughout the location, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and interacting with residents and visitors to provide outstanding customer service. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents and guests by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of authorized individuals within the residential community.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting residents and guests as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site protocols.
• Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and property management to support a welcoming and secure environment.
• Follow all Allied Universal guidelines and procedures while performing access control and other security-related duties at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
