As a Security Professional - Unarmed Construction Patrol in Winnemucca, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols of the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter potential security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to everyone you encounter. This is a primarily driving post, where you will be responsible for monitoring various areas and responding promptly to any situations that may arise. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, responding as appropriate to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor for and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
  • Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to help to maintain a secure environment.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and activities during each shift.
  • Remain alert and prepared to respond to site-specific emergencies and/or requests for assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required for driving positions, and applicants must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements; driving experience is preferred for primarily driving posts.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
