As a Security Professional - Government Center - Full Time in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a government location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, playing a key role in creating a welcoming and secure environment. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access control points, verifying credentials, and assisting guests with a high level of professionalism and customer service. You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a visible presence and responding promptly to inquiries or concerns. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and guests by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor and manage access to the location, verifying identification and credentials as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and incident reports.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and emergency personnel as needed.
  • Assist with emergency response activities at the front desk when appropriate.
  • Support a welcoming and secure environment by helping to deter unauthorized individuals from accessing restricted areas.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have 5 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or more years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
