As a Security Officer Unarmed Site Patrol in Costa Mesa, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at an unassigned location. Your day will involve conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and interacting with people on-site to provide outstanding customer service. You will be responsible for monitoring assigned areas, responding to incidents as needed, and communicating important information to both team members and visitors. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
