As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a residential community, you will be responsible for conducting regular patrols throughout the location to help to deter security-related incidents and foster a welcoming atmosphere for residents and guests. Your presence and attentive approach will help to maintain a secure environment, while your strong communication and customer service skills will allow you to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or property damage.
• Document security-related incidents and report them according to Allied Universal procedures.
• Communicate with residents, guests, and staff to provide information and assistance as needed.
• Assist emergency services personnel on site as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license in the job state is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
