As a Security Officer - Healthcare Unarmed Patrol in Newtown Square, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. In this unarmed patrol position, you will conduct regular patrols throughout the facility, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access points, supporting access control procedures, and responding to any security-related situations that arise. You will also interact regularly with staff and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel promptly.
• Assist visitors, patients, and staff with inquiries and directions as needed while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Support emergency response activities as required by site protocols and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
