Job Description:

As a Security Professional Unarmed Commercial Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for tenants, visitors, and property management. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assisting with access control. You will interact regularly with building occupants and guests, providing excellent customer service and clear communication to address any concerns that arise. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or maintenance concerns encountered during patrols.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding site conditions and incidents.
• Document all activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience or possess a college degree.
• Must provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
