As a Security Professional with Allied Universal in a transportation-focused location, you will play a crucial role in access control, monitoring entrances and exits, and helping to deter security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to individuals accessing the location by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and/or exit as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting and reporting as necessary.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or the public regarding access protocols and site policies.
• Support Allied Universal management in carrying out additional security-related tasks as directed for the transportation environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
