As a Security Officer - Telecom Patrol in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology and media location, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help prevent unauthorized activity, and responding promptly to incidents as they arise. You will serve as a key point of contact for those on site, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, working collaboratively with other team members.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential threats, documenting findings according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist visitors and employees by providing directions or information, and monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding site conditions and any incidents.
• Support overall security-related operations at the location, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site.

• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or required license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
