As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a chemical and petrochemical environment, you will be responsible for conducting regular patrols throughout the location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, offering exceptional customer service while monitoring access points and responding to security-related situations as they arise. This is a driving post, so you will be required to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location, particularly in chemical and petrochemical settings.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to established protocols.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during incidents and/or emergencies as directed by site leadership.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and security-related activities as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
