As a Security Officer - Retail Site - Full Time in WILMINGTON , DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic retail and mall environment, helping to create a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and staff. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the location, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will be a key point of contact for guests and employees, assisting with inquiries and responding to situations with professionalism and care. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required as you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas by vehicle and/or on foot. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the retail or mall environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate based on site requirements.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide assistance to visitors and tenants as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required for positions involving driving responsibilities.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
