As a Security Officer - Residential Site - Full Time in Canyon Lake, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment within a residential community. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and offering outstanding customer service to residents and guests. This position is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required as you will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas using a vehicle and/or bicycle, depending on the needs of the location. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a residential community.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and observe for any irregularities or security-related concerns within the community.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal procedures.
• Support emergency response activities as required, coordinating with local authorities and/or property management as appropriate.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to residents and visitors.
• Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by Allied Universal and the property management team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be able to ride a bike.
• A valid driver’s license in the job state is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
