As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment within a residential community. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the location, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to residents and visitors. This position requires you to be active and alert, as you will be moving throughout the property and interacting with the community on a daily basis. As this is a driving post, a valid driver's license is required. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including appropriate response to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs within the location.
• Communicate with residents, visitors, and staff in a professional manner to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required, following established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be able to ride a bike as part of job duties.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license in the job state is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
