As a Security Professional - Unarmed Post - Utilities Site in Lutz, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading utilities location, you will play a critical role in helping to deter security-related incidents and providing peace of mind to those on site. You will conduct regular patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to support a secure environment and respond promptly to any incidents that may arise. Your presence and professionalism will help foster a welcoming atmosphere, as you deliver outstanding customer service and communicate clearly with visitors, staff, and contractors. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with consideration for the unique needs of a utilities location.
• Monitor for and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards encountered during patrols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to personnel and visitors at the location.
• Document and communicate all incidents, observations, and interactions according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed during incidents.
• Operate communication devices and security-related technology to support patrol and incident response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
