As a Security Professional - Unarmed Telecom Patrol in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology, media, and telecom location, you will play a critical role in helping to maintain a secure environment for all employees and visitors. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter potential security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will also be expected to provide exceptional customer service, assist with inquiries, and communicate clearly with both team members and the public. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.57 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, both inside and outside the location, to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual or prohibited items within the location.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to company and site-specific protocols.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property.
• Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift, adapting to changing conditions and requirements as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
