As a Front Desk Security Officer at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and contractors. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and assisting with inquiries, all while helping to deter security-related incidents through your attentive presence. This post requires a valid driver's license in the job state, as there may be driving responsibilities associated with the role. Pay Rate: $19.16 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist employees, visitors, and/or contractors at the front desk, providing excellent customer service while following site-specific security-related procedures.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs as required by client policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate to Allied Universal management and/or client contacts.
• Conduct security-related checks of packages and deliveries brought into the location when required by site protocols.
• Communicate important information regarding incidents, emergencies, or unusual activities to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Support emergency response activities at the front desk by following established protocols and assisting with communication and coordination efforts.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance while representing Allied Universal at the client location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
