As a Security Officer - Dispatch Monitor - Afternoon Shift in Perris, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations at a prominent government location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring communications, coordinating responses, and providing timely assistance to on-site personnel. By maintaining clear and professional communication, you will help to deter incidents and contribute to a secure environment for all visitors and employees. Your presence at the dispatch post will be crucial in facilitating prompt responses to situations as they arise, while also delivering exceptional customer service. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage radio and telephone communications to coordinate security-related operations and dispatch personnel as needed.
  • Maintain detailed logs and records of all incidents, calls, and activities occurring during the shift.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials of individuals entering the location.
  • Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns from employees, visitors, and/or contractors.
  • Communicate important information to appropriate personnel to help to deter potential security-related issues.
  • Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to emergency response and incident reporting.

  • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
  • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
